I don’t want to live that way.
One of the things I want to focus on doing this year is not using the term ‘busy’. I think sometimes it’s such an over-used excuse and often when we use it we aren’t really that busy that we don’t have enough time to do those things like catch up with a friend, help someone out when they’re in a bind, start on that side project you’ve had on your mind forever, call your grandparents, email your blogger BFF, etc.
And after deciding that that would be my major ‘resolution’ for this year, what happens? Things get crazy. Crazy busy. Oh dear. I used the bad word. But I just don’t think any other word will suffice for my life so far this year.
So starting from now, I will stop using that term! I just have to remember to take a breather every now and then, and think that this is the time to really knuckle down – the start of the new year, the start of something new.
Currently listening to: Walk Off The Earth – Somebody That I Used To Know (Gotye cover)
I am completely obsessed with this version of this song at the moment. I actually think I prefer it over the original. I’ve also been listening to my brother’s cover of Mama Hold My Hand (Aloe Blacc) that he recorded for our mum to find when she gets back from her holiday. I totally cry every time I listen to it haha.
I know this is a ‘weekend’ links post and it is now Monday night but I haven’t blogged in over a week and I missed out on posting this last Friday. I felt bad. So here it is, extra long cause I had a build up of awesome finds. Enjoy!

- To Resolve Project: A collection of new year resolutions made into iPhone wallpapers.
- The Style Me Pretty Best of 2011 magazine is out! All of you brides-to-be should check it out for wedding inspiration cause there’s some great stuff in there.
- Connie of The Paper Dialogues made these super cute ‘will you be my bridesmaid’ kraft booklets. So sweet!
- A delicately illustrated January desktop calendar by Rebekka. Love!

- This save the date combines everything that I love in wedding stationery – watercolour, calligraphy, cut-outs, mini envelopes and transparency.
- How cool is this ‘calenclock’?! It’s nicely designed and actually works as a functioning clock. Brilliant!
- I drooled a little just reading the title of this post; cinnamon sugar focaccia sticks.
