You made it through, but nevertheless.

So much for not blogging in the next few weeks. This is my 3rd entry since that post. Ha! Maybe I’m not taking a break like I thought I was?

Had an alright week. Nothing special, but nothing bad. The weather has been all over the place. One minute it’s all thunder and dark skies, the next it’s blue skies and sunshine burning into us. I wish it would make up it’s mind.

Today, we { A Couple of Night Owls } are shooting an engagement session. Was kinda hoping it wasn’t going to be this sunny because overcast weather acts as a really great diffusion panel, but I guess it’s much better than rain! And tomorrow we will be heading out of town for the day to do some location scouting for a wedding next weekend, which just so happens to fall on my birthday!

I can’t believe I’m turning 26 years old. I will no longer be on the lower side of my 20′s. :( Noooooooo. Hopefully I will get time to finish off a few posts before my birthday that I have been working on for some time now but we will see. Got a very busy week and a half ahead!

Hope you all are having (or going to have – for those on the other side of the world) an awesome weekend!

  1. The Hungry Workshop, at it again with this awesome wedding invitation with a cute merit badge momento on it!

  7. “Everbody likes parfait!” Haha. That stupid Shrek quote is all I can think of when I see or hear the word parfait. Which brings me to this: how to make meringue parfaits!

  9. I would LOVE to see Kelli Anderson talk at a conference. I actually put her name down as someone I wanted to see come to a future Semi Permanent event. Glad I got to see this video of her talk at TEDx though!

  11. A very cool mug DIY. I think it was the geometric pattern that caught my eye.

Don’t fret, lady. Like a fine wine, you’ll get better with age. P.S. Thanks for sharing the mug DIY tutorial!
