Sweet, so delicate.

 

I have a habit of buying pretty paper that I know will just sit in a draw somewhere and never be used but sometimes I see something and just HAVE to have it. That’s how I felt when I saw this gorgeous butterfly watercolour printed paper by Cristina Re. I purchased this single sheet about 2 years ago and it still sits in a clear file on my shelf. I should really put it to good use. Any suggestions?

    I always end up using fancy paper I found in decoupage projects, the latest being tarting up cheap wooden photo frames from the dollar store.

    Put it in a plain white frame (the bigger the better) and use the glass on the front of the frame as a whiteboard. Genius, no?

    Yowzers, that paper is so flippin’ pretty! I’d be hard-pressed to use it, too! Depending how large it is, you could use it as drawer liner? Then you’d always have something pretty hangin’ out with your favourite clothing.

      It’s only an A4 sheet so it wouldn’t be big enough for that but that’s such a cute idea!

    I was going to say frame it… but I’d scan it first to use as a texture maybe! Your close ups of it are really good textures too! I have clear-files full of ‘pretty pieces of paper’ :\ it’s like an episode of hoarders up in here.
